What NineBox is
NineBox is a record-keeping tool published by Huk Interactive. It is not a tax preparer, CPA, law firm, or financial advisor. Figures, categories, mileage rates, and “set aside” estimates are for organization only. Confirm everything with a qualified professional before you file.
Mileage rates
Business standard mileage rates follow published IRS figures by trip date, including the 2026 mid-year change. Later IRS notices may require an app update. You are responsible for using the correct method (standard mileage vs. actual expenses) for your situation.
Subscriptions
NineBox Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store: $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year (prices may vary by storefront). The yearly plan includes a free trial where Apple offers one. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period in Apple Account settings. The free tier limits new receipts and trips per calendar month; existing records remain visible.
Your records
You own the records you enter. They stay on this device. Keep your own backups by exporting CSV or PDF. Deleting the app deletes local data.
Acceptable use
Do not use NineBox to fabricate records or to submit false information to any tax authority.
Disclaimer of warranties
NineBox is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that OCR, GPS miles, or estimates are complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NineBox and its authors are not liable for tax assessments, penalties, lost deductions, or other damages arising from use of the app.
